strong & powerful currents
beautiful, beautiful man,

the good and the bad

and like the ocean,
beautiful,
overpowering,
in his beauty,
in his power,

song, upon his

the waves,
the gentle,
kissing
tender touching,
bathed in love,
as long as,
you are
not stolen by the undertow,
head smashed on a rock or drowned,

without the knowledge
of the danger, the power, inside,
would he be handsome
at all ?

would the draw of it all
overpower, bring you to your knees,
make you want to nothing
but to Him, submit ?

& my love, my Sister,
how I wish I could,
the impossible -
see you be prepared,
and in your place I wish
but
cautioned ?
would not be

He is unpredictable waters,
the under
the current,
the tow
dark, dark and, oh,
powerful,
there is no
threading,
no walking in
easy & careful, oh no

he takes you,
grabs you,
and that’s it,
you are gone,
away from me
never again to be
seen,
until,
the mood strikes
your Poseidon,
to return you to His
shore

return a Woman,
more beautiful then,
Goddess of Love,
larger then life,
or, return your body
against the rock
broken
your heart used up
and shattered,
bleeding and dying,

remains to be seen.

Beauty

We are living in a society where beauty, aesthetic and hygiene are very important aspect of our daily lives. Our beauty rituals usually start in the early morning when we take time to bathe, dress carefully – often clad in expensive clothing – and put on make up and perfume. Our concern with impression stretches to the way we design our homes, the cars we drive, the restaurants we eat at and the people we try to have around us.

All this represents a kind of lifestyle that we seek and sometimes struggle to maintain. External beauty and image are very important to us and often times, they play a big role in our happiness and self-confidence.

The problem is, we get so busy worrying about our outer beauty and forget to pay enough attention to our inner beauty.

In my seminars I talk a lot about the “spiritual hygiene” that we have to attend to. In the same way we take a shower in the morning, taking care of our hair, skin, body and nails, in the same way we have to take care of our inner self to be cleaned and maintained. We need to think about this more than just on occasion, but daily (imagine yourself how you would look and smell if you only shower once or twice a month!).

Meditation or prayers are the way to maintain the health and well-being of your inner beauty; to make it supple and well. By working with visualizations, taking a short walk in nature or breathing a couple of minutes early in the morning, you give power to your inner self. Small acts like this are the tonics and remedy for your inner beauty.

If you don’t do it yet, try to focus every time every morning on your spiritual hygiene. When you leave for the day, stop for a second and think if you did take care of your inner self and if you did your daily rituals to be inside and outside beautiful. If so, close the door with your key, put a smile on your face and start a new and positive day!

If you want to change the world…love a woman – really love her.

Find the one who calls to your soul, who doesn’t make sense.
Throw away your check list and put your ear to her heart and listen.
Hear the names, the prayers, the songs of every living thing -
every winged one, every furry and scaled one,
every underground and underwater one, every green and flowering one,
every not yet born and dying one…

Hear their melancholy praises back to the One who gave them life.
If you haven’t heard your own name yet, you haven’t listened long enough.
If your eyes aren’t filled with tears, if you aren’t bowing at her feet,
you haven’t ever grieved having almost lost her.

If you want to change the world… love a woman – one woman
beyond yourself, beyond desire and reason,
beyond your male preferences for youth, beauty and variety
and all your superficial concepts of freedom.
We have given ourselves so many choices
we have forgotten that true liberation
comes from standing in the middle of the soul’s fire
and burning through our resistance to Love.

There is only one Goddess.
Look into Her eyes and see –
really see if she is the one to bring the axe to your head.
If not, walk away. Right now.
Don’t waste time “trying.”
Know that your decision has nothing to do with her
because ultimately it’s not with who,
but when we choose to surrender.

If you want to change the world… love a woman.
Love her for life-beyond your fear of death,
beyond your fear of being manipulated
by the Mother inside your head.
Don’t tell her you’re willing to die for her.
Say you’re willing to LIVE with her,
plant trees with her and watch them grow.
Be her hero by telling her how beautiful she is in her vulnerable majesty,
by helping her to remember every day that she IS Goddess
through your adoration and devotion.

If you want to change the world… love a woman
in all her faces, through all her seasons
and she will heal you of your schizophrenia -
your double-mindedness and half-heartedness
which keeps your Spirit and body separate -
which keeps you alone and always looking outside your Self
for something to make your life worth living.
There will always be another woman.
Soon the new shiny one will become the old dull one
and you’ll grow restless again, trading in women like cars,
trading in the Goddess for the latest object of your desire.
Man doesn’t need any more choices.

What man needs is Woman, the Way of the Feminine,
of Patience and Compassion, non-seeking, non-doing,
of breathing in one place and sinking deep intertwining roots
strong enough to hold the Earth together
while she shakes off the cement and steel from her skin.

If you want to change the world… love a woman, just one woman.
Love and protect her as if she is the last holy vessel.
Love her through her fear of abandonment
which she has been holding for all of humanity.
No, the wound is not hers to heal alone.
No, she is not weak in her codependence.

If you want to change the world… love a woman
all the way through
until she believes you,
until her instincts, her visions, her voice, her art, her passion,
her wildness have returned to her -
until she is a force of love more powerful
than all the political media demons who seek to devalue and destroy her.

If you want to change the world,
lay down your causes, your guns and protest signs.
Lay down your inner war, your righteous anger
and love a woman…
beyond all of your striving for greatness,
beyond your tenacious quest for enlightenment.
The holy grail stands before you
if you would only take her in your arms
and let go of searching for something beyond this intimacy.

What if peace is a dream which can only be re-membered
through the heart of Woman?
What if a man’s love for Woman, the Way of the Feminine
is the key to opening Her heart?

If you want to change the world…love a woman
to the depths of your shadow,
to the highest reaches of your Being,
back to the Garden where you first met her,
to the gateway of the rainbow realm
where you walk through together as Light as One,
to the point of no return,
to the ends and the beginning of a new Earth.

Brilliant psychedelic animation: The Beatles Rock Band's music video.

'The Beatles: Rock Band' is a music video game being developed by Harmonix Music Systems. The intro animation to the game is a thrilling ride into psychedelic magnificence. Excitingly creative, technically spotless, simply brilliant. Within two and a half minutes, the animation provides a brief representative history of the band's rise to fame, interspersed with numerous references to other songs from The Beatles, followed by more metaphorical scenes reflecting their studio albums. Make sure you watch it at least till minute 1:20 – that's the point where the absolutely amazing psychedelic action starts.

By using controllers shaped like musical instruments, the game will allow players to simulate the playing of rock music. It will consist of 45 songs by The Beatles spanning the band's career, along with virtual depictions of the band members performing the songs. Shortly after the game's release, future downloadable content for the game will be available, such as the entirety of the Abbey Road album.

Former Beatles members Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr gave critical input and their blessing to the game. George Harrison's son Dhani championed the game's creation and helped to bridge discussion between Harmonix and Apple Corps. The Beatles: Rock Band will feature virtual representations of the popular quartet and their ten-year career as a band. The game will be published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts.

Coinciding with the release of new, remastered CD versions of The Beatles albums, the game will be released internationally on 9th September 2009.

What an amazing christmas story about a 3 year old girl and her father!

Some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy."
He was embarrassed by his earlier over-reaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He yelled at her, "Don’t you know that when you give someone a present, there’s supposed to be something inside it?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy."

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness. It is told that the man kept that gold box by his bed for years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as humans have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, family or God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.
