It primarily focuses on documentary movies with subjects such as popular science, technology, and history. In the U.S. the main Discovery network is primarily focused on reality-based television themes, such as speculative investigation (with shows such as MythBusters, Best Evidence and Unsolved History), automobiles and occupations (Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs). There are also documentaries specifically aimed at younger audiences and families.
