Intuition – A Crash Course

Intuition by ultrafeel.tvWhat is Intuition?

Intuition is a knowing, a sensing which is beyond the conscious understanding. It's the ability to sense or know immediately, without reasoning. Also known as 'a gut feeling' and sometimes intuition is even regarded as a divine or prophetic power.

What is the difference between genuine intuition and 'just a feeling' or 'just a hunch'?
When your logical thoughts are in conflict with your emotions, your emotions will most often win. However, your emotions are not intuition. The heart has reasons the mind could never understand, yes, but warning, even the voice of your heart is not intuition! Intuition is utterly beyond both reason (thoughts) and heart (emotions). Of course there can be intuitive emotional impressions, but when coming from 'the source' they are usually pretty quiet, gentle, fine.

The gentle and genuine voice of your intuition is the exact opposite of plain emotions like: "I feel pretty good about it, let's do it." These 'loud emotions' usually sound very convincing - but more often than not lead to complete disasters when blindly following them! Genuine intuition is a quiet and gentle, even humble, voice within you, which simply tells you what's really going on.

What if you're in doubt? How do you know whether it's really your intuition speaking to you?
How can you be sure that is not just another thought, some wishful thinking or some emotion triggered from your past experiences? How can you know that this is the voice within that you should trust? As already mentioned: Your intuition is quiet, a gentle voice, sometimes only whispering. You might see some images, faint pictures in your mind, hear soft voices. Sometimes you really need to pay very close attention to avoid overhearing the real deal. It might also need courage to listen to your subtle intuitive voice, rather than give in to your restless thoughts or screaming emotions of your feverish mind!

If still in doubt, ask your intuition...
How's that for a paradox? But it's really just that: When you finally manage to overhear the noise of your thoughts and emotions, you will automatically - intuitively - know what's true and what not!

What if your intution confronts you with strange and irrational stuff?
Often the impressions and pictures your intuition comes up with, don't make a lot of 'rational' sense. Immediately your mind will jump in and try to convince you that this can't possibly be true, "it just doesn't make sense" ...yet it stubbornly turns out to be the actual truth.

Your intuitive knowledge may also trigger fear. Don't give in to it. If your emotions are in conflict with your intuitive sensing, you must literally apply discipline: However overwhelming the fear, say thanks to your emotions - and follow your intuition!

If you're brave enough to follow your inner intuitive voice, you will be rewarded by direct and immediate knowledge, as Robert Graves put it:

Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer.

(Robert Graves)

Alexis Carrel even claims that all great people rely basically on their intuition only:

All great men are gifted with intuition. They know without reasoning or analysis, what they need to know.

(Alexis Carrel)

And beware if you're married:

Intuition is what tells a wife her husband has done wrong, before he even thinks of doing it...

So what does your intuition tell you today?

Enjoy an absolutely stunning interview with Bradford Keeney on sex, god and the old shamanic ecstasy techniques.

"If we really want the world's spiritual leaders to help us out, then we need to see the Pope and the Dalai Lama agree to change costumes for one week, because if we can't see that degree of play and absurdity then they have nothing to say..."

"Move over meditation and welcome heightened arousal and ecstasy."

"The original forms of healing and being in relationship to the great mystery was wild, and the last great taboo for us today is opening the door and inviting the wild, that which is uncontrollable, unpredictable..."

"It's not about going into trance, it's about being awakened."

"...we were born to fully be embraced by bliss."

"What we need is to laugh our asses off."

"The world is made of stories, not atoms."

    Life Out Of Dead Atoms?

    Tuesday, 21. February 2012

Atom - Molecule (Photo by: Richard Skura)Can life really come out of dead atoms as science claims?

...What does science say about 'world stuff'?

Science says that there is a real world composed of matter/energy and that: "each person is a separate collection of this stuff".

As to the nature of this 'stuff', science agrees that at base (the quantum level), there is no 'substance' - just "relations between quantum events", which are most usually described in the form of mathematical equations - not 'things'.

However, it is said that at larger scales, these 'events' resolve into the 'things' that we perceive: 'hard things' made of 'ordinary matter'.

Science attests that: in and of itself, this 'matter stuff' is "unfeeling and unknowing" (plain dead). Yet, according to science, some of this stuff becomes aware when it is aggregated as 'brains'.

In other words, awareness is postulated to arise out of non-awareness: life out of death... a miracle indeed!

It is supposed to work like this:

External stimuli from the real world (eg 'photons/electro-magnetic radiation' (ie. light), or 'odour molecules', etc) impact on special parts of the body (eg, eyes or nose) creating electro-chemical impulses that travel along the nerves to specific parts of the brain. It is said that the resulting activitiy in the brain gives rise to sensations: colours (seeing), sounds (hearing), flavours (tasting), odours (smelling) and feelings (feeling) inside the brain.

These sensations are meaningless in themselves.

Meaning (knowing) is apparent only when ideas are combined with the sensations to give the impression of a 'felt reality' - inside the brain.

Science has no idea how atoms in a brain create and perceive 'colour', or any other sensation. And, no wonder!

No one hasAtomic Matrix (Photo: Sxc.hu) ever seen, or can ever see, 'colours' (or any other sensation) manifesting in a brain in order for any hypothesis to be tested!

All that has ever been observed are apparent traces on apparent instruments that measure postulated electro-chemical impulses in apparent brains!!!!

I said 'apparent' traces and 'apparent' instruments and 'apparent' brains simply because whatever is seen (according to science) is inside the brain.

In this 'perceived world', all 'things'are apparent (without 'substance'). Just like the 'dream world' that seems 'solid' while dreaming - but is not. Of course, when dreaming, you are not 'in the dream' - the dream is 'in you'.

And this too is what science asserts: the whole perceptual world is an illusion inside the head.

In so far as science is concerned, the only difference between the 'perceived world' and the 'dream world', is that the 'perceived images' represent a 'copy' of the 'outside world' and are caused by stimuli from that world. On the other hand, 'dream images' are postulated to arise solely from activity in the brain itself.

Head brain bust But ask yourself, how could 'dead' atoms (that know nothing of who or what or when or where they are) in some supposed 'outside world' interact with dead atoms in a supposed body and brain so as to convey to those dead atoms what the 'outside world' looked, smelled, tasted, sounded and felt like?

How could dead atoms in a brain (that can never get outside the head to see or feel anything in the supposed 'real world') create these impressions for themselves - if all that exists inside a brain is dead atoms?

How could dead atoms give rise to LIFE: laughter, sorrow, music, friends and enemies - the whole wonderful panorama that is this experience?

Science itself asserts that nothing of the supposed real world can ever be seen or known directly by any one.

According to science, the supposed 'real world' is ever beyond the reach of the senses. It cannot be seen or heard or tasted or smelled or felt directly.

Look around. Science says that everything seen and felt is inside your head. Can you locate the head that science says exists? Sorry, it cannot be done.

You may say, I can see it in the mirror. No. If you see it, science says the image is inside the head. If it is inside, it cannot be your head.

Or, what about the feeling of your head in your hands. No again.
Any feeling is inside the brain - according to science. However you may try, you cannot get outside yourself to see who you really are.

This truth is true forever. It is not scientific truth, it is the nature of being.

Ethnobotanist and psychedelic researcher Terence McKenna claimed that our reality is quite literally created by language.
    • Magical philosophy has always claimed that the world is made of language. The world is a thing of words, and if you know these words, you can take it apart and put it together any old way you wish.

    • The human neocortex becomes the center of the human drama.

    • Our entire Western religious tradition begins with the incredibly cryptic statement: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was made flesh." What is this making the word into flesh? And does it not imply that eventually the flesh will become word?

    Transposing 'word' with 'code'.

This would give us: "In the beginning was the code, and the code was made flesh."

Doesn't this sound like a programming statement? Coding for virtual reality! (With 'word' being appreciated as the only concept that was available at biblical times, in that language. This 'word' was capable of conceptually pointing toward the idea of a code that creates an illusion within which we are all embedded. Of course it's in fact just a pseudo reality which goes unquestioned due to tyranny of ideas and alternatives.)

Let's see what McKenna comes up with here:

The mind as co-creator of our model of the world.
    • Our model of what the world is is made of words, and the world is composed of description.
    • If you live long enough you discover, what you imagine and what actually is, are very close to the same thing.

    • The mind is somehow a co-creator in the process of reality through acts of language.

    • Science carried out its analysis of nature that went to such depth that it discovered that nature doesn't exist, except as an object of description.

And another quote by the master of words himself:

The world is like a novel; it's a novel in which you are a character.

    (Terence Mc Kenna)

    Everything is code.
    • The universe is a puzzle, it's a problem to be solved, it's a conundrum, it's not what it appears to be, there are doors, there are locks and keys, there are levels and if you get it right, somehow it will give way to something extremely unexpected.
    • If the world is code, then it can be hacked. It permits magic, because it says: Behind the laws of physics is a deeper level, and if you can reach that deeper level, you can make changes there.

Another internationally renowned scholar, ethnographer and shaman, Bradford Keeney confirms the 'reality-language' concept:

The world is made of stories, not atoms.

(From ultrafeel.tv's post Sex, God and Ecstasy - Bradford Keeney)

The Language of God (Book-cover. Author: Francis S. Collins) But beware, don't just believe this - find out for yourself!
    Here's the always needed counter-concept:

    (By Mercury 555 @ Deoxy.org/forum)

John C. Lilly (American physician, psychoanalyst, consciousness researcher, and inventor of the isolation tank) was asked this question, and his reply was this:
"The world is made of language? No, the world is not made of language."
John Lilly was some kind of God, so this reply has some weight, but never stop thinking for yourself!

If you ask a question, you have to question the question itself first - we use words, without really knowing what they mean.

What do you mean by the word 'world'?

What do you mean by the word 'language'?
And then what is a question?

Do babies have language? Do babies have a world?

Being on an LSD-trip, is there language, is there a world?

Are you capable of imagining a world without using language?

Are you capable of using language without imagining a world?

Is GOD capable of imagining the universe without using language?

Is GOD capable of using language without imagining a world?
    Are you GOD?

    Are you the world?

    Are you language?

Sometimes, questions are more important, than replies.

    What makes you ask questions?
Do you ask questions or do they happen to you?
Are your questions really your questions?

    Who are you?

Asking yourself who you are, who is asking this?
Who is asking, who am I?

    What does 'I' mean?

What does the word 'meaning' mean?
    What does 'do' mean?

Is 'doing' physical action or is it also mental action?

Is there a 'doing' that is beyond action?

    What does 'what' mean?

    What does '?' mean.

In the beginning there was ? and the ? utttered a word.

And the ? saw that it was good.

    What does 'word' mean?

Pronounce a word very slowly, and you will realize, that you are only aware of one letter at a time,

not even that, only aware of one noise at the same time.

    Is noise language?
    Is music language?
    Does music use words?
    Does a noise have meaning?
What is the difference between a noise with meaning, and a noise without meaning?
Is a noise without meaning language?
    Is meaning without noise language?

    What can be language?
Is there something that cannot be language?
Can you imagine something that can never be language?
    What does 'never' mean?

It is all in the now.

Spoken language is a linear sequence if information.
You are only in the now, therefore you cannot possibly understand language.
    Language is spread over time.
    Are you spread over time?

How can language possibly have meaning to you?

How do you know there is meaning, the moment you know meaning?

So why not just drop language, as Indian guru Osho suggested:

The whole language depends on time – past, future, present.
Language is a creation of the mind, time is also a creation of the mind.
When you drop language, time disappears.
When you drop thinking, there is no past, no present, no future.
You go beyond time, there is no time. When there is no time, there is eternity.
When there is no time, you have moved into the world of the eternal. The truth is eternal.
And all that you have got are temporal reflections of the truth.

    (Osho)

What does non-language, also known as silence, has to do with it?
Let's see what American critic, scholar and educator George Steiner has to say about the subject:

Language can only deal meaningfully with a special, restricted segment of reality.
The rest, and it is presumably the much larger part, is silence.

    (George Steiner)

Within this silence words, languages and hence so called reality tunnel's appear:

What kind of reality we experience is determined by our reality tunnels.
Our reality-tunnels are being constructed during the course of our lives by our experiences, thoughts and belief-systems.
As our thoughts base on language, thinking and all resulting belief-systems are hence built upon language. For more detailed explanations on these exciting matters, check one of ultrafeel.tv's most popular essays ever:
How reality-tunnels create what we experience in life.

    Dr. Quantum Visits 2D Flatland

    Sunday, 27. February 2011
That's what would happen, if a person living in a normal 3D-world entered a 2D flatland.

This clip is from the extended version of 'What The Bleep Do We Know?' ('Down The Rabbit Hole : Quantum Edition').

Isn't it funny...that, which we are most afraid of, is what thrills us the most?

    A wonderful metaphor for enlightenment!

If we see only what we know, how does anyone see ever anything new - the unknown, how do we ever get out of the box?

    (Dr. Quantum)

Well, how do we get out of the box?
The answer might be found in the 'reality tunnel' issue: How do we extend our reality tunnels? Find out here:
Reality-Tunnel: How Beliefs And Expectations Create What You Experience In Life.
And how to gain enough courage to break out of our prison-box? Consider this: Why is it so difficult to change our lives.

Signs in different directionsHow to make the right decisions?

Every day, we are forced to make decisions.
Some are simple, like whether or not to add milk to our coffee, what to wear to work, what plans do make for the evening, etc. However, the stakes rise when we're considering bigger decisions like, which investments to proceed with, whom to marry or which battles to fight. Sometimes decisions are clear and other times, they require a lot of time for us to consider our options, to think about the outcomes and weigh whether or not we can live with the consequences.

While our decisions are personal and take our own time to sort out, however, for me, I find that my decisions not only affect me but may also have an impact on my clients. Without exaggerating, I can say that I take more time making decisions for others than for myself. After all, it is part of my job, to help give information to help people make decisions but also give them the latitude to make their own decisions.

Often times, clients ask me to make decisions for them. But my job is really to analyze future possibilities. It’s like using a GPS in a car. The GPS shows you which direction to take but in the end, it’s the driver’s decision if he wants to drive straight through or stop for a rest; if he wants to take major roads or drive through smaller towns at a slower pace. I give the options but the client has to make the final decision.

"Are you sure?" Yes or NoIn my book HELLSICHTIG, I outline several meditations to open people's intuition; one of the techniques helps to make the right “YES or NO” decision. I call this meditation “The Inner Oracle.”

Choose two colors, one to represent 'yes' and the other to represent 'no.' Next choose a “yes or no” decision you have to make. Sit down and relax. Close your eyes and do a meditation to calm down your mind. Bring your brain in a neutral and quiet state. Now connect to your intuition by connecting to the inner silence. Once you feel completely calm, you visualize a big white wall in front of your inner eyes. Repeat the question two or three times in your mind, without speaking it out loud.

When done with this focus on the white wall and ask your intuitive self if the answer is YES or NO. Don't question what appears before you and if no color appears, relax and try it again. If you have the answer, you can stop the meditation and open your eyes.

Later, see if your answer was right or not. If it did not work out the first time, don’t worry and don’t give up. In my seminars more than 80% of the people succeed with this exercise but it takes time and patience. This meditation should help you to trust in your intuition because you see that it works and over time, it'll be easier for you to make the decision that is right for you.

Enjoy the meditation and good luck!

Visionary Force: Remote Viewing experiment with precious stones - gold/emerald ring.

Kannst du darüber schon was sagen?
