Striking graphic animation art by designer Jack Featherstone.

Jack Featherstone’s work is marked by highly symmetrical and colorful digital graphic works. In his project ‘Quilt’, he created a demo for a one-hour animation to work as a visual projection to accompany two DJs’ live shows and parties.

Simplicity and geometry play a really important part in my work at the moment. I am fascinated by form, shape and colour and with the quest to get to the fundamental core of them. In Quilt, which was an animated visual, I was trying to show that representational imagery must to be kept to a minimum so as not to take the audience away from the music.

Featherstone studied at Falmouth College Of Art And Design and got his Bachelor of Arts at Honors Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art. He published in magazines such as Wired, Wallpaper, Ideas Illustrated and he has been featured in books such as Stereographics (Victionary) and YCN Book 08/09 and many more. Furthermore his work has been exhibited in Plymouth (Its Nice That Original Format), Chigaco (Dimension And Typography) and Manchester (The Waiting Room). He has been honored with the D&AD Yellow Pencil award.

Spiral shower Arina Komarova designed this futuristic spiral shower.

The Egg Shower by Arina Komarova is a unique spiral-egg-shaped cocoon shower stall concept.

Like an egg pod from space, the cocoon is not only a shower, but also a bathtub and hydro massager (jacuzzi), completed with a customizable lighting system which allows creating a mood while relaxing or rinsing off.

For a great outside entertainment show, an overhead rain style shower head comes combined with a LED lighting system.

Spiral shower by Arina Komarova. The unique form of this shower, with the sides slide open and shut, provides a cocoon-like enclosure. The interior is even lit with integrated soft-lighting spots that likewise surround the user on all sides.

The Beatles with their monu-mental hardrock-metal song Helter Skelter.

Musicologist Alan W. Pollack said this song will "scare and unsettle" listeners. He cited Helter Skelter’s "undercurrent of violence" and "obsessive nature" and noted "Paul’s savage vocal delivery"…

The Beatles released this groundbreaking song on 22nd November 1968.

Better than ever: Paul McCartney’s later version.

In 1967 McCartney read a Guitar Player magazine interview with The Who’s Pete Townshend where Townshend described their latest single ‘I Can See for Miles’ as the "loudest, rawest, dirtiest song The Who had ever recorded".

This inspired him to strike back with Helter Skelter which he claimed has the most raucous vocal, the loudest drums, etc. McCartney stated he was using the symbol of a helter skelter as a ride from the top to the bottom (the rise and fall of the Roman Empire) and this was the fall, the demise.

Hot Dana Fuchs with her rocking version in 2007.

Dana Fuchs is an American singer, actress and songwriter. Fuchs is most famous for her role as ‘Sadie’ in the 2007 film Across the Universe.

Irish U2 here with their classic cover from the ‘Rattle and Hum’ album in 1988.

"When I get to the bottom
I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and turn
and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again

Do you, don’t you want me to love you
I’m coming down fast, but I’m miles above you
Tell me, tell me, come on tell me the answer
and you may be a lover but you ain’t no dancer

Well do you, don’t you want me to make you
I’m coming down fast, but don’t let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me your answer
You may be a lover but you ain’t no dancer"

And did you know these guys… Japanese hardrockers Vow Wow’s cover in 1989.

The Langgrill can be dragged from side to side to switch between blazing flames and gently cooking embers for the relaxed broiled dinner.
